Erectile Dysfunction (ED) has been defined as the inability to attain and/or maintain an erection hard enough for satisfactory sexual intercourse. It can occur occasionally or frequently and men are able to self-recognise the condition, which can vary in severity from mild (a soft erection) to severe (no erection at all). 

Men can experience symptoms in different ways. For some with ED, it can be difficult to achieve or maintain an erection every time they try to have sex. For others, symptoms may happen once in a while. Either way, men suffering from ED find that:

• they cannot achieve an erection, or
• they may achieve an erection, but not firm enough for having sex.
• they may also lose their erection before or during sex.

Viagra Connect is an effective treatment for the symptoms of ED in men aged 18 years and older. Viagra Connect relaxes the blood vessels of the penis so more blood can flow into it. Viagra Connect will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually excited (stimulated). After sex, your erection will go away as it would normally. Viagra Connect will not help you if you do not have ED symptoms. 

Men who have not been supplied Viagra Connect because of their cardiovascular health, interacting medicines or another concern must be told to see their GP as soon as they can within 6 months.

How to Take Viagra Connect:

Viagra Connect is available in a 50 mg tablet. The recommended approach to take this is:

One tablet with water about an hour before sexual activity. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours.
