How to Fit a New Probe Cover
1. Take a strip of the new probe covers and fit them firmly into the plastic storage/dispenser stand.
2. Click Into Place: Hands-Free Attachment.
Align the tip of the thermometer probe with the centre of a fresh cover in the dispenser. Press straight down firmly until you feel or hear the cover click securely onto the unit.
3. Take the Reading: Safe Scanning.
Gently straighten the ear canal and take the temperature measurement. The fresh cover ensures an unhindered, accurate infrared scan.
4. Eject and Dispose: Hygiene Maintenance.
Once finished, safely eject the used cover directly into your household waste bin. Never reuse or wash a probe cover, as this can damage the lens and cause inaccurate readings.
