When taken before eating or drinking, Pepcid AC actively prevents symptoms from occurring, offering up to 9 hours of day-time control or up to 12 hours of night-time relief to protect against acid-related sleep disturbance.

Who Can Use Pepcid AC?
Pepcid AC Tablets are suitable for adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over.
Directions for Use & Dosage:
- Day-time Prevention and Relief: Take one tablet with a drink of water. If symptoms are associated with food and drink, take one tablet 15 minutes before the meal.
- Night-time Prevention: Take one tablet with a drink of water within one hour before your evening meal to prevent night-time symptoms and disturbed sleep.
- Maximum Dose: Do not take more than 2 tablets in any 24-hour period.
- Duration of Treatment: If symptoms do not improve after 14 days of continuous use, or if symptoms worsen, you must stop taking this medication and consult your GP.
Do not take Pepcid AC Tablets before consulting your doctor if:
- You have lost weight unintentionally.
- You are 55 years of age or older and experiencing indigestion symptoms for the first time.
- You have kidney problems or impaired renal function.
- You have difficulty swallowing or persistent abdominal discomfort.
